Monday Aug. 20 – Silent Movie Night

The irresistible Harold Lloyd stars in “Safety Last” (1923) on the silver screen in the organ pavilion. The musical accompaniment will be provided by Steven Ball, whose work at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and other venues has distinguished him as one of America’s leading theatre organists. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. with Steven offering “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and a musical suite from “Wicked.” Then once it’s dark, the movie begins!

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., the movie should end by 9:30. 
Food: Enjoy a picnic at the Pavilion. The Japanese Tea Pavilion is open till 7 p.m. with Teriyaki Bowls and Curry chicken sandwiches – The Market Place on Fifth and Maple has a deli – or get Pizza from Pie Craft at 5th just south of Laurel.
