Help sought in front office

The Spreckels Organ Society Executive Director is now seeking a part-time assistant for office support. Work on Thursdays and Fridays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at negotiated hourly rate. Duties include scheduling assistance, production and distribution of written communications, support for organ concert productions. Needed skills: effective telephone and correspondence capabilities, adept at Facebook and social media, capable with Word, Excel, Publisher, Photoshop, WordPress in Windows environment. Please contact Ross Porter – sosorgan@gmail.com

From Australia via New York City, Alessandro Pittorino will be playing this Sunday’s concert at 2 p.m. (musical selections to be announced from stage) as well as on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. (Refer to the program book, at right).

August 20 special event

Monday August 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Japanese Friendship Garden.

$35 per person ($40 at the door). Click here to reserve your tickets.

Immediately preceding the annual Movie Night at Spreckels Organ Pavilion, enjoy a Beer & Wine Taste fundraiser next door. We’ll save your seat! All attendees will enjoy reserved seating for Movie Night.

Snacks will be provided, along with excellent local craft brews and wines – plus a souvenir wine glass, while supplies last.

Thanks to the local breweries Hess, Fall, and Thorn – and to the law firm of Hughes & Pizzuto for furnishing the wine and glasses!
