June 26 – Organist Ty Woodward and the Marine Band San Diego. Mr. Woodward is Staff Organist at Disney’s El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and interim Choir Director and Organist at Santa Monica United Methodist Church.
July 3 – Jelani Eddington—Award-winning theatre organist who has toured throughout the world retuns to the Spreckels Organ for an evening of magic.
July 10 – Kiyo and Chiemi Watanabe—This season marks the fifth appearance on the Spreckels stage for this husband and wife organ duo. Kiyo and Chiemi have appeared by invitation at premier events in both the U.S. and abroad, charming audiences world-wide.
July 17 – Isabelle Demers—Head of the Organ Program at Baylor University, this international concert artist is a hit with fellow organists and the Pavilion audience.
July 24 – Gordon Turk— A favorite of Spreckels audiences for his improvisation and showmanship. He is the organist of the Ocean Grove Auditorium, New Jersey.
July 31 – Ken Cowan—Head of the Organ Program at Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston, Ken Cowan is praised for his dazzling artistry, impeccable technique and imaginative programming.
August 7 – Christian Lane—Director of Music and Organist of All Saints Episcopal Parish in Brookline, Massachusetts and also for the chaplaincy of Tufts University.
August 14 – Rising Stars night featuring young organist Greg Zelek and a return visit by Seamus Gethicker, young talent from American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS).
August 21 – Movie Night with Steven Ball, Organist for Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. He will offer concert selections before beginning the accompaniment to Buster Keaton’s “Seven Chances.”
August 28 – Spreckels Artistic Director and former San Diego Civic Organist Carol Williams is joined by the Carol Williams Band for this combination evening of classical organ and a Tribute to The Doors.
